This morning, I decided that I was officially recovered and would do a long run of at least 12 miles. I managed to convince Katie to join me and ran to her house and then down and around Lake Union. At the top of Stone Way, I bonked. Everything hurt and I had nothing left -- muscles or cardio. Katie reminded me that when we run together after a race, I will usually run 6 miles and then comment that I am not as recovered as I thought I was...so at least I was consistent.

Katie was nice enough to stay with me and we walked to Pete's coffee where Ted met us initially and then Ruth scooped me.
