I convinced Jeff and Ann to meet early for our 70 mile ride and we set out in the rain before it had gotten completely light. We decided to go North first to get the trail and coldest part over with first and coming down Juanita was very very cold. Once we hit Bellevue, we decided to loop around Mercer and then finish by looping the south end using the f-bomb liberally to be sure our faces did not freeze. Once we hit the I90 bridge, we re-assessed the weather and reason prevailed. We headed back over the bridge.

The bridge itself helped to reinforce that our decision was sound as the wind and rain was especially heinous. After the bridge, Ann declared that 45 was the new 70 and we limped back to the cars.
