Woke up this morning with a tender head and stiff neck from my run-in with the tree yesterday. Started my AM brick (10 mile bike, 3 mile tempo run) this morning rather reluctantly -- just not approaching it with my best.

Parked at Mount Baker Park and rode my bike to Seward Park (took a while to warm up). Then did the upper loop 6 times concentrating on roller technique and acceleration and back to Baker. Then I ran 1.5 miles out and back at a tempo pace (7:32 mile -- whooop whoop!!!).

Found a site with core exercises and did 1-14 @ 10 reps tonight (I could not do #15 but I will be able to eventually). I am going to ban the pooh tummy once and for all!
