Did my first Interval Run workout today -- I believe my first since before Boston! I have a new strategy I read about in Runner's World. Basically it is a 10 x 800 set on the same interval as the marathon finishing time goal. So in my case, I need to do this set (or 2-3) on the 3:45. I was pretty nervous going into it as interval workouts scare me but Cheryl said to just to 3 of them to start this week.

I did a 200 walk/jog recovery in-between each one and the third really really hurt. When running it, I felt as though I was really slowing down and pushed myself -- guess I need to know my body better as that was my fastest.
